The Empeltre olive not only yields extra virgin olive oil, but after a process of months, this olive transforms into a highly flavorful and soft table olive to serve with an aperitif or dish. O’gustinos is the name of these delicious table olives, named after the godchild of the founder of TierraLou, once again a nod to the future!
The olives are beloved by both young and old because they are soft, sweet, and deliciously seasoned with our own blend of herbs and our Dona Luisa olive oil. Because the olive is not too large, the pit remains intact.
Tip:
Strain the leftover olive oil, then add a spoonful of mustard, a dash of wine vinegar, pepper, and salt to create a delicious vinaigrette. O’gustinos are a jar of delight!
