The olive makes the oil

Type of olive

Empeltre

Primary characteristics

Silky smooth, spicy, and lightly peppery

The Empeltre olive is a medium-sized black olive that ripens early on the tree. As a result, this olive not only produces high-quality olive oil but can also be used for delicious table olives. Ideal for use in many Mediterranean dishes. With its soft, fresh, and delicate taste, this unique olive forms the soul of our olive oil, a balm for the senses and a tribute to the ancient wisdom of nature.

The olive makes the oil

Type of olive

Arbequina

Primary characteristics

Fruity, nutty, and mildly bitter

The Arbequina olive is one of the most well-known varieties in the world and originates from Catalonia, specifically from 'Arbeca'. The olive has a distinctive small and refined shape and is harvested when the cheeks begin to turn purple. The oil from this olive reveals an extraordinarily fruity and aromatic character, harmoniously intertwined with subtle aromas reminiscent of green almonds and artichokes with a buttery touch, making it beloved by chefs. This olive oil is abundantly used in Mediterranean dishes, adding flavor to everything.
